PHOTOGRAPHY CLASS: Photographing a Feeling: How to get emotive images from any session
Limited Capacity seats available

Have you ever been to a photography talk where you were super inspired but left with no tangible ways to implement what you learned? Yeah, this talk hates that talk. This talk wants to inspire you but also not leave you hanging. This talk wants to give you all the tools to take interesting photos that you don’t hate. You don’t have to have naturally candid clients to take emotive images-- that process begins and ends with you.

In this talk you will learn how to get emotive images from every single session. Yep you heard that right --Chloe will cover how to do this for families, couples, weddings. You will go through the importance of connecting with your clients on a deeper level pre-shoot so that you will know the best ways to photograph them. You will learn ways to foster an environment that gives your clients the confidence to be who they are. Chloe will break down exactly how to direct (instead of posing) to achieve more natural-looking images. She will demonstrate how she creates the mood she wants through a method she calls """"mirroring the mood"""" as she works with a real couple on stage. Finally, you will look at composition as a tool and how to use the environment you are in to create photos that are more dynamic. Chloe will help you create photos that make you proud as an artist at every single session.

You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, Chloe will cry (because she has feelings, too), and you'll learn honest ways to take emotive images at every session.

Learning Objectives:

- Learn how to connect with your subject pre shoot (a free copy of Chloe's couples questionnaire to use)
- Learn how to foster an environment during your shoot that allows your clients to open up
- Learn how to use directing over posing/mirroring the mood/composition to help ease your subjects into natural images

If your branding could use some tweaking, if you’re still trying to figure out your voice, if you’ve suddenly found yourself pulling all-nighters more than you’d like to admit, if you want to command the price tag you know you deserve or even add a little more soul to your shooting and editing style, well you need to pull up a seat, because this is for you! This class will cover how to create authentic, feel-good images you and your clients will love, how to make every client (shy or otherwise) feel like Beyoncé, how to develop your brand voice + a unique experience that people will buy into before they even know what you’re selling, how to create processes that will provide the ultimate piece of mind for you and a 5-star experience for them, and how to always love what you shoot, love what you do and love who you work with. As a bonus, we’ll cover prep guides for clients, awesome programs and apps for you, editing tips and best practices that will have you living your best photographer life.

- Learn how to perfect your ‘voice’ to attract the ideal client and work environment
- Learn to operate like a pro and rock any photo session or wedding from inquiry to photo delivery
- Gain insight on the best ways to create authentic, genuine, heart-felt, drool-worthy images you and your clients will love
- Learn easy and effective creative direction for the self-proclaimed “shy” client, “awkward” client and the client who “doesn’t want to be posed”
- Curate a boss process that sets expectations, puts clients at ease, and allows them to look and feel like rockstars before, during and after their photo session
- Learn amazing best practices to deliver a flawless and amazing experience for every client, every time
