In this processing boutique, Meg Loeks will teach you how to maintain consistent tones that will help you stay true to your style across all different types of light. From high noon sun to golden hour backlight, she will discuss ways to enhance your images and personal voice using both Lightroom and Photoshop. Learn how to dramatically boost color, depth, and light with a minimalistic approach. Study ways to enhance light, highlight dramatic skies, and even create a seamless composite. You will receive several of Meg's Camera Raw images, so feel free to bring your laptop (not required) and edit right alongside her during the program. You'll learn to achieve a complete polished look in this 90-minute intimate workshop. Attendees will also receive a downloadable editing video after Click Away.

Storytelling isn’t just for documentary photographers--storytelling is at the heart of all photography. The unique gift of photography is that it documents a moment that will never happen again. In this program, Neely will discuss the parallels between the 7 literary components of a good novel and the ways in which they can be applied to tell a story photographically. Learn to be an effective visual storyteller by using things like environment, light, composition, movement, color theory, and the connection between subjects to piece their stories together. Neely will take some time discussing telling a story in a single frame or through a series of images and how to do both. She’ll discuss the significance of empathy and keen observation as the driving forces behind impactful storytelling. Attendees will learn how to see light and use it as an integral storytelling tool. Finally, Neely will share a live edit to show how she further emphasizes light and uses depth to draw the eye to the subject. This diverse course will be packed with concrete information regarding technique as well as abstract concepts designed to spark your heart with inspiration!

- Learn how to observe and connect with clients to authentically tell their stories with compassion and truth
- Learn how to utilize light to create depth, drama, and emotional effect in an image, whether it be through available light, artificial light, or emphasized in post

Join Sarah in this classroom program and learn how to take real, raw moments and turn them into the most beautiful story by editing for emotion. Delve a little deeper into Premiere Pro as she teaches you all the tools to transform your video clips into a finished film. Bring your laptop and follow along (not required) as Sarah shows you how to find the story and flow of your film, edit to the music, use audio to evoke emotion, mix frame rates, and add text and graphics. Sarah will take the intimidation out of Premiere Pro and have you addicted to video too.
