Join Kristen on the beach for a creative experience shooting long exposures and time lapses. Attendees will get creative using a Neutral Density filter to vary shutter speed for creative effects. Kristen will share her process for setting exposure, programming the remote, and other tips for successful creative images. Next she will discuss the process in setting up your camera and remote to shoot a successful time lapse with proper exposure. She will demonstrate how she sets her camera to achieve the best exposure and how to set up the remote intervalometer to capture the series of images for the time lapse. After demonstrating both of these creative processes, there will be plenty of time for participants to experiment and ask questions as Kristen walks around to assist and discuss these techniques. This program is for those with a solid understanding of shooting in manual mode. You should also understand how to change exposure compensation on your particular model of camera. Tripods are required for both time lapse and long exposure work. Neutral Density filters needed for long exposures but not time lapse. A remote is needed for exposures over 30 seconds and helpful for time lapses as well (unless planning to manually trigger the shutter or using in camera intervalometer).
